Why Fish Radio Episode #34
This is an exciting week at Why Fish. We had an opportunity to fish in the Fish Winnipeg Challenge last week. This is an event that raises funds to teach at-risk youth how to fish. The idea is to give the kids a rod and reel then teach them to fish in Red River and hopefully keep them out of trouble. Besides talking about Fish Winnipeg we got an interview with professional fisherman and co-chair of the event Don Lamont. I think you will find this event to be unique and a great cause.
Also last weekend the winner of our days guided trip from Trophy Cat Adventures spent the day with Kent Hollands. They tell me that they caught 13 fish with the smallest being 11 pounds. Hopefully we will have pictures for you in the near future.
Why Fish Radio is brought to you by Cats on the Red. The feedbags are on and the fishing is hot. We plan to be up there next weekend. Hope to see you there.
